Latest COQA conference featured in Argus Media article on Crude Oil Export Standards
A key theme of the discussion sessions and panel presentations at the COQA's Galveston conference from October 16-17, 2025 was crude oil export quality.
COQA has previously developed and recommended specs to improve WTI consistency in Cushing through the NYMEX CME Futures Contract. The organization is looking at whether (and how) export grades could also become more consistent, and what kind of recommendations it could make to industry.
