Next Meeting When: October 28, 2010 Where: Marriott West Loop by the Galleria 1750 West Loop South Houston, TX 77027 Tel: 713-960-0111 This is the same hotel we met at in October 2009. Sleeping rooms: The hotel has reserved a block of sleeping rooms for meeting attendees at the special rate of $132 per night single/double. Subject to availability, rooms will be available at this rate for several days preceding and following the meeting. Beginning August 1st, reservations may be made by contacting in-house reservations at the Marriott and referring to COQA. Program: For this meeting there is no general theme. If you are interested in making a presentation, please contact me at your earliest convenience. I already have several presentations committed on a range of topics. Other activities during the week: The Opportunity Crudes 2010 conference organized by Hydrocarbon Publishing Company will be at the Westin Oaks Hotel from October 25th – 26th. The Westin is a 10 minutes walk from the Marriott. Information on this conference is being sent to all COQA and CCQTA members separately. If you do not receive this, please contact me and I will add you to distribution. ASTM Course on Crude Oil: Sampling, Analysis, and Evaluation is being given at the Marriott from October 25th – 27th.
